FETF
The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2024 aims to assist UK farmers, contractors, horticulturalists, and foresters in enhancing productivity and efficiency through grants for equipment and technology. Available across three key areas— productivity, slurry management, and animal health and welfare—the fund provides financial support based on expected average costs determined by supplier data. FETF supports research and development of advanced machinery, precision farming technologies, and sustainable practices. The fund incentivises farmers to make use of modern equipment for increased efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
The grant is competitive, however successful applicants can receive:
- Between £1,000 and £50,000 for productivity items
- Between £1,000 and £50,000 for slurry management
- Between £1,000 and £25,000 for animal health and welfare improvements
