“Classic John Deere’s hit the headlines at Rugeley Dispersal”
The Peter Till retirement dispersal at Wolseley Park Estate saw a very large crowd and classic John Deeres are a very hot trade. There were nearly 500 lots on behalf of Peter Till together with a few included items and with a large crowd and a sunny day trade was brisk particularly with regard to John Deere tractors and grain trailers.

A particular feature of the sale was the highly collectable John Deere 7530 which was sold with 40KPH gearbox having undertaken 6,732 hours. With four phone bidders and a commission bid on the book this tractor was purchased to go to work in Cheshire at £52,000.
The brighter of the modern John Deeres being a 6215R 50KPH gearbox with front linkage and PTO had undertaken 4,745 hours on sale day registered on a 69 plate she achieved £76,500 to a local purchaser only two villages from the sale site.
The mid range John Deere 6210R with 50KPH gearbox, registered 61 plate and 7,200 hours achieved £44,500 to travel to South Warwickshire.
Peter Till’s Leyland DAF 8 Wheel Bulk Tipping Lorry had seen many years’ service on the farm, sold for agricultural use only it achieved £8,900.
