“Large Support and Big Crowd at Saltby Dispersal” Mark Elliott
The machinery dispersal sale on behalf of the Wellwood family at Saltby Dairy Unit near Melton Mowbray saw the Bagshaws team out in force and a large crowd with support from a wide area.
There was a very comprehensive range of cattle equipment together with calf rearing sundries with various of the pristine items including a Four Wheel Holm and Laue Milk Pasturiser Unit and range of cattle crushes and galvanised equipment attracting very wide interest.

The Bateman Galvanised Crush achieved £2,000 with the Weigher Platform and Wand Device together with Reader at £2,300.
The IAE Galvanised Cattle Race c/w Front Slide Gate and Six Hurdles achieved £1,500 with the Collinson Trio Bulk Leg Bin at £4,700.
There was wide interest in the large Sims Calf Hutch Units which achieved up to £1,000 each with the Holme and Laue Milk Taxi at £7,500 and the HTL Electronic Powered Foot Crush at £1,300.

“New Holland CX740 Combine Tops the Day at Twycross Dispersal” Mark Elliott
The sale on behalf of Mr & Mrs Nigel Carter at Lagos Farm attracted very wide interest for Bagshaws with support from Dumfriesshire, Northern Ireland and surrounding Counties. Top call of the day was the New Holland CX-740 Combine which having undertaken 2,271 threshing hours and 2,863 engine hours the 2004 model achieved £48,400 to a Derbyshire farmer.
