“New Holland CX740 Combine Tops the Day at Twycross Dispersal” Mark Elliott
The sale on behalf of Mr & Mrs Nigel Carter at Lagos Farm attracted very wide interest for Bagshaws
with support from Dumfriesshire, Northern Ireland and surrounding Counties.
Top call of the day was the New Holland CX-740 Combine which having undertaken 2,271 threshing
hours and 2,863 engine hours the 2004 model achieved £48,400 to a Derbyshire farmer.

“Highly Successful WRAG Post Knocker Dispersal” Mark Elliott
The dispersal on behalf of the Wright family trading as WRAG Post Knockers Ltd saw a massive crowd with particular interest in the unused post knockers and log splitters and wide local support for both the spares and tools and workshop equipment alike.
The sale also included a non-vat section of private items with spirited bidding in all sections.
In the outside lots:

The sale included two forklifts together with a pristine JCB 525-60 Hi Viz Loadall with the Daewoo Forklift achieving £4,200 and the JCB selling with under 400 hours on the clock at £40,200.

“First of the season sale sees massive crowd and a very diverse number of lots

The sale on behalf of the Haynes family of Heath Farm at Hollywood, Nr Stone saw nearly 550 lots for sale ranging from tractors and machinery right through to non-vat churns and glazed sinks.

One of the stars of the show was the Bunning Lowlander 80 Farmstar Rear Discharge FYM Spreader (18’) which achieved an excellent price of £17,200 and saw interest from both Wales and four counties of England.
The farms Nugent Tri-Axle Livestock Trailer achieved £5,460 with the McCormick CX105 showing 8,305 hours achieving £11,000 and the Valtra 8150 on a 02’ Plate showing 14,600 hours at £14,900.
Round haylage bales to £28 per bale.
