Fiona Maxey

Fiona has a keen interest in property and enjoys building strong, lasting relationships with clients. She is committed to providing a friendly and professional service, helping people with their property needs while continuing to grow her knowledge and experience within the industry.

Outside of work, Fiona enjoys spending time with her family, socialising with friends, and exploring the countryside on long walks with her dog, Buddy.

Helena Hext

Helena recently completed an undergraduate degree in Agribusiness at Harper Adams University. She will be starting a Master’s degree in Rural Estate and Land Management as an apprentice at Harper Adams University in September 2026.

Outside of work, she enjoys country walks, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

McKenzie Pate

Mckenzie has been working in property sales since July 2023. Based at the Uttoxeter Office, she supports the team with sale progression, administration and office organisation, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient service for clients.

Outside of work, Mckenzie enjoys spending time in the countryside, especially exploring the outdoors with her dog.

Brodie Murray

Brodie is an integral part of the Ashbourne office, supporting its daily operations through handling telephone enquiries, progressing sales, and providing administrative assistance.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her partner and three children, keeping busy with their many clubs and activities. Since moving from Scotland in January 2026, Brodie and her family have embraced life in the English countryside. She has a strong connection to rural living, having spent many summers with her grandparents on their dairy farm in Scotland.

Joseph Walker

Joseph works across compensation claims, valuation, landlord and tenant matters, and rural property sales. He studied Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams, completing a placement year on a large rural estate in North Yorkshire, before joining Bagshaws in September 2025. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys tennis, walking, and socialising with friends and family.

Ellie Wynne

Areas of work: Valuations, Secured Lending, Landlord and Tenant advice, Property sales and assisting in the Livestock Market.

In her spare time, Ellie enjoys socialising with friends, helping on the family farm and competing on her horse.

Ashleigh Barber

Ashleigh is based in the Buxton office and local to Derbyshire. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and walking her two dogs around the Peaks.

Roger Bedson

Having qualifications and several years’ experience in Civil Engineering and a background in practical farming Roger spends a lot of his time acting for those affected by Compulsory acquisition schemes.

He is the past Chair of the committee dealing with compensation matters within the CAAV and remains an active member of that committee. As a parliamentary agent throughout the Hs2 petitioning process, Roger presented over 30 cases to both the House of Commons and House of Lords Select committees. He continues to work closely with the NFU and other bodies to represent claimants affected by such schemes. He is also a former chair of the Midlands region of the compulsory purchase association and sits on industry forums to help improve the process alongside the NFU and CAAV.

Planning and development promotion, solar parks and renewable energy projects occupy the remainder of his time. With several successful schemes under his belt, he provides advice on schemes throughout the Midlands.

There is a huge amount of work in the renewables energy sector as we head towards the moving target that is “net zero” and work for clients on the many new overhead pylon lines schemes to is likely to form a large part of our workload going forwards. With hundreds of settlements achieved over the years, we have an unrivalled database of the effects of powerlines on properties.

Bill Parry

Bill has spent his entire working life in Staffordshire, having been based in Leek, Newcastle, and Stone. He carries out a wide range of rural professional practices, particularly focusing on land promotion and valuations for various purposes. With over 50 years of experience as an auctioneer, Bill’s career has also led him to undertake significant insolvency work. In his spare time, he maintains an active social life, enjoys playing crib, and cherishes spending time with his four grandchildren.

Ben Rowley

Ben joined Bagshaws in 2024 following the completion of a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Real Estate at Oxford Brookes University. He is enthusiastic about working towards achieving the MRICS and FAAV accreditations.

Based primarily at the Uttoxeter office, Ben supports Suzanna with a range of general professional instructions, including valuations, tenancy matters, and property agency.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Louisa Tyler

Louisa is currently studying a 5 year apprenticeship degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams.

Outside of work, Louisa is an active member of young farmers and enjoys working on her family dairy farm.

Alice Postlethwaite

Alice joined Bagshaws in 2024 as a full-time member of staff working as a Secretary in the Uttoxeter Office.

IN her free time, Alice enjoys indulging in her hobbies, crochet and embroidery.
