Ivor graduated from Harper Adams Agricultural College in 1996 and began his career with Bagshaws at the Bakewell office. He later gained valuable experience with McCartneys in Herefordshire, before spending 13 years in partnership with Jones Peckover in North Wales, where he was involved in a wide range of professional work, property sales, and the running of St Asaph Livestock Market.

Returning to Bagshaws in 2014, Ivor became a Partner and is now based once again at the Bakewell office. With over 11 years as a Partner, he continues to advise clients on a broad range of property sales, valuations, and other professional services, alongside his well-established role as a livestock auctioneer.

As part of recent structural changes at Bakewell Market, Ivor is now responsible for overseeing the running of the Market. A seasoned auctioneer and long-time team member, he brings deep experience, leadership, and commitment to the role. He is supported by Alastair Sneddon, ensuring continuity and the continued high standards expected by clients and vendors.
