New measures from Defra now requires all poultry owners, regardless of flock size, to register their birds. The registration threshold has been lowered from 50 birds to just 1 bird, following recommendations from the NFU.

The deadline to register your flock is 1st October 2024.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We’re thrilled to announce that two of our amazing Bagshaws employees, Lucy Ainley and Meg Elliott,  took on a monumental challenge last weekend. On Sunday, June 2nd, they walked an incredible 26.2 miles across the stunning Peak District, joining 70 dedicated individuals to support a cause close to our hearts.

Their efforts were in aid of the Glitz and Glamour Charity, which raises vital funds for the Derby Breast Test Appeal and Gynae Cancer Research Fund. Bagshaws is honored to contribute £200 to support this inspiring initiative.

⛳️ Bagshaws were pleased to sponsor the Staffordshire NFU Golf Society day at Onnerley Golf Club, nr Woore, on Wednesday last week.

Oliver and Fabio, as golfing wannabe’s, went along to join in the fun and present the prizes.

The results were as follows:

🥇2nd John Peake 37 points
🥇3rd John Rigby 37 point
Peter Bowen (photo) also achieved a hole in one on the 7th hole on the day.

Fabio also scored 41 and could have won, but he’s not a member of the society. Sorry Fabio!😀
