We at Bagshaws can assist you in preparing and submitting applications for the Capital Grants Scheme.
Capital Grants are 3-year agreements designed to provide capital items aimed at achieving specific environmental benefits across six main categories:

• Air quality, for example slurry scrapers
• Assessments, for example a wildfire checklist
• Boundaries, tress and orchards, for example repairing stone walls
• Improvements, for example education access visits
• Natural flood management, for example leaky woody dams
• Water quality, for example biofilters

There are currently 78 options available, these include:

• BN11-Planting new hedges (£22.97/m)
• BN12- Stone Wall Restoration (£31.91/m)
• BN13- Top Wiring- Stone Wall (£5.54/m)
• FG2- Sheep netting (£7.47/m)

Applications for the Capital Grants Scheme are currently CLOSED. It is expected that the application window will open again in 2026. A business will be able to make one application per calendar year within the application window. A claim for a Capital Grant item can be made at any time of the year once the work is complete.
