Annual Darley Moor Collective Sale
The 2025 event at Darley Moor run by the Bagshaws sale team had to unfortunately be pushed back to May due to bank holiday and printing issues which allowed the team to attend on a very sunny day with a massive crowd and very spirited bidding in all sections.
In the Early Lots:

The Tractor Sundries section saw a diverse range of goods with:

There was a large section of trailers together with tractors and machinery with;

- Ford 1910 4WD Compact £2,600
- International 955 2WD (Approx 1981) £5,000
- Ford 6600 2WD Bubble Cab £5,450

- JCB JS130 13 Ton Excavator £9,500
- Hitachi Axis 22cl Compact Digger £7,800
The vehicle section topped at £5,300 for a Polaris Ranger with a Land Rover 90 £3,400 and Bobcat 1 ½ Ton Mini Digger at £3,400.
A successful event with pleasing results for the vendors and the ice cream vans doing a roaring trade.

Machinery Dispersal Report-New House Farm, Yarlet
“Retirement Sale Draws the Crowds”
The retirement dispersal on behalf of Tony and Anne Turnock who had been on the holding for 34 years saw a big crowd with both national and local interest for the range of goods.
In the Smaller Lots:
- Vink Calving Aid £250

- Single Phase Mobile Milker Unit £600
- Large Parlour Fan £330
There was a lot of pre sale interest in the fertiliser which was stored in the top shed with 1.8 tons of 34.7 Nitrogen achieving £720 for the lot.

In the Field;
- IAE Galvanised Troughs £120 each
- Four-Heavy Duty Calf Pen Hurdles £250
- Sets of IAE 10 Calf Pens c/w Backs £640 per set
- Silage Cover Sheets £280 each
The IAE Galvanised Youngstock Crush achieved £760 with the Centurian Full Access Crush at £1,900.
Within the Machinery

The three tractors from the farm had been well cared for with the;

- Kubota M9540 c/w Kubota Loader (Under 2,900 Hours-12’ Plate) at £18,500
There was a genuine retirement entry from a local farm to include;
- Kubota 5111 under 2,800 hours, 68’ Plate at £24,000
- Trioliet Single Axle 10 m³ Diet Feeder £6,750
- Marshall Twin Axle 1500 Gallon Slurry Tanker £1,650

The retirement dispersal on behalf of Mr David Wrench who was leaving his farm on the Capesthorne Estate after over 30 years attracted wide interest and support from North Wales, the Midlands and all surrounding counties.

Machinery Dispersal Report-Wolseley Park Estate, Stafford
“Classic John Deere’s hit the headlines at Rugeley Dispersal”
The Peter Till retirement dispersal at Wolseley Park Estate saw a very large crowd and classic John Deeres are a very hot trade. There were nearly 500 lots on behalf of Peter Till together with a few included items and with a large crowd and a sunny day trade was brisk particularly with regard to John Deere tractors and grain trailers.

There was a lot of interest in the grain trailers with;
- Twin Axle JPM 12 Ton Grain Trailer £6,500
- Richard Western Twin Axle Silage Trailer £9,700
A particular feature of the sale was the highly collectable John Deere 7530 which was sold with 40KPH gearbox having undertaken 6,732 hours. With four phone bidders and a commission bid on the book this tractor was purchased to go to work in Cheshire at £52,000.
The brighter of the modern John Deeres being a 6215R 50KPH gearbox with front linkage and PTO had undertaken 4,745 hours on sale day registered on a 69 plate she achieved £76,500 to a local purchaser only two villages from the sale site.
The mid range John Deere 6210R with 50KPH gearbox, registered 61 plate and 7,200 hours achieved £44,500 to travel to South Warwickshire.
Peter Till’s Leyland DAF 8 Wheel Bulk Tipping Lorry had seen many years’ service on the farm, sold for agricultural use only it achieved £8,900.
