Machinery Dispersal Report-Upper Hagg Farm, Darley Abbey
“Over 500 Lots at Derby Sale”-Mark Elliott
The dispersal sale held by the Bagshaws team on behalf of the Smith Family arose as a result of the property being sold and with Mr & Mrs Smith well into their 90’s the genuine dispersal attracted wide interest with additional lots from local vendors pushing the total lot count to over 500.
In the Smaller Lots:

There was a neat row of well maintained machinery including:

The two Ford Industrial Tractors had been purchased locally with the Ford 335 2WD achieving £2,800 and the Ford 2WD c/w Loader at £3,500.

Red hot trade in red hot Derbyshire”-Mark Elliott
The dispersal on behalf of the Late Mr Allsop at Brookfields Farm, Brassington saw a large crowd and spirited bidding from start to finish with the principal items including a classic Massey Ferguson 188 Turbo and Toyota Hilux with very low mileage achieving outstanding figures.
In the Smaller Lots:

There was wide support from as far as Northern Scotland and down into Wiltshire for the larger items with prices as follows:

In the Tractors:
- John Deere 1140 4WD (C Reg) £4,500
- Case 7110 4WD (H Reg) £9,850
- Massey Ferguson 14H 4WD Rough Terrain Forklift £2,650
One of the stars of the show was a unique Massey Ferguson 188 Turbo on a 1976 P Plate which came forward for sale with a Garrett Turbo PAVT Rear Wheel Centres and Multi Power Transmission. This created wide interest nationally and was eventually purchased by a Scottish collector for £13,000.
In the Major Plant:

- Bobcat 316 Compact Excavator (2007 Model) £7,150
The late Mr Allsop’s Toyota Hilux Invincible 4 Door 4WD Diesel Pickup showed less than 8,300 miles on sale day and on a 17’ Plate achieved an excellent £20,500.
In the Major Plant:
