An easier trade for milkers which was perhaps a reflection on the quality forward saw the best to £2080 for a heifer from Andy and Jane Brookes of Field, Uttoxeter with another from Andrew Mills of Ratcliffe on Wreake to £1960.
A very pretty Shorthorn heifer from Shirley Kirkham reached £1870.
The special entry of In-calf heifers from the Hall Bros of Somerford Booth met a brisk trade peaking at £1680.

Machinery Dispersal Report-Barms Farm, Buxton
With Bagshaws having sold Barms Farm, John and Lorraine Naden saw a very large crowd for the dispersal of their machinery and effects which had been very carefully maintained and driven and saw excellent prices

The twin unit trailer mounted mini bale wrapper unit attracted a lot of interest to finally achieve £6,800.
Trailers were hot property with the old Bateson twin axle dump trailer at £2,250. Ifor williams twin axle LT85G Small Wheel Plant Trailer £1,450 and a very well kept Ifor Williams PAG Single Axle Sheep Trailer £2,850.

Trade continues to be very strong for the best topping at £2300 on Tuesday for a stylish heifer from Messrs Callwood of Knutsford.
Close behind at £2240 was a 27kg heifer from David Brailsford of Chesterfield.
Ian Ellis of Ashover saw his heifer make £2140 with others from D Davenport of Sandbach to £2070 and P J Williams of Middlewich to £2060.
Trade for bulling heifers was swift topping at £910 to average £894.

Large Arable Kits Pulls Large Crowd to Mid Staffordshire Dispersal

The dispersal on behalf of the Collier Family at Ingestre attracted bidders from across the UK and Ireland and into Northern Europe.
The stars of the show were undoubtedly the JCB Fastrac, Claas Lexion Combine and John Deere Self-Propelled Sprayers with successful purchasers from throughout the UK.

A superb trade despite the mixed quality forward saw two heifers reach £2220. The first from Messrs Callwood of Knutsford giving 26kg and the second a Dairy Shorthorn from Rob Kite of Milwich giving 28kg.
Close behind at £2200 was a 26kg heifer from Messrs Ellis of Ashover.
Cows topped at £1980 for a second calver from Messrs Bradburn of Wigan.
Hayden Whitfield of Doveridge kindly donated a Jersey x heifer to the Ukraine Crisis. After spirited bidding the hammer eventually fell at £1420 to Phil Wilson of Ashover. Leek Auctions have matched this price and a total including many other donations given in recent weeks will be announced soon.
