Bakewell Market Thursday Lunchtime Sheep Sale
Machinery Dispersal Report-Overfield Farm, Tissington
“Kubota and Ford pull the crowd at Tissington Retirement Dispersal”

The retirement dispersal on behalf of Mr & Mrs Tony Stone at Tissington attracted a very large crowd with support from as far afield as North Wales and Yorkshire and there was something for everyone in the sale.
In the Small Tractor Sundries:

There was a wide array of livestock equipment and troughs including:
- 5 Hurdles £75 per set

- Hang On Galvanised Gate Racks £60 each
- 8ft Galvanised Leg Troughs £150
- Steel Bunded Troughs £400
- Tombstone Galvanised Ring Feeder £150
The Bateman Heavy Duty Beef Cattle Crush was in excellent order and achieved £1,760.

The farms tractors had been particularly well kept and were in very good order with a Classic Ford 7810 Series III 4WD on a H Plate achieving a superb £22,400 and a very low hours (1502 hours) Kubota M7040 4WD c/w Power Loader achieving an excellent £28,000.

Machinery Dispersal Report-Melbourne Farm, Bakewell
“Land Rovers, Masseys and New Hollands Ring the Bell at Bakewell Dispersal”

The genuine dispersal on behalf of Mr & Mrs Andrew Bunting at Melbourne Farm, Bakewell saw a wide array of items to be auctioned with several larger machines having undertaken little work.
There was a large crowd and great support particularly from the local fraternity with extended interest from Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Yorkshire and Cumbria.
In the Smaller Lots:
- Silage Pit Cover Sheets £200 each
- Sets of 4 Galvanised Calf Pens £160 per lot
- Pairs of Hang On Metal Troughs £110 per lot
- Single Phase Pressure Washer £320
- Small Lots of Calf Coats £135 per lot
- Sets of 4 Sheep Hurdles £66

A feature of the sale was the farms own Forster Teknik Calf Feeder c/w Two Stations and Collars which achieved £3,700 to a Staffordshire Calf Rearer. The Hoof Care Cattle Foot Crush c/w Electric Motor Facility achieved £3,000 and the Galvanised IAE Cattle Crush sold at £1,000.

The farms Kramer Allrad 750 Loading Shovel was in order good and achieved £19,300 with the Massey Ferguson 3625 2WD showing 4,529 hours on sale day at £11,000.
There was an excellent range of included items from local farmers including a small holders dispersal on behalf of Mr Bostock of Heage.

The New Holland TM155 4WD showing 4,442 hours from a local farmer achieved £24,000. A retiring Staffordshire Farmers Land Rover 90 on a 64’ Plate, Steel Wheels, 31,000 miles at £24,000.
An extremely well attended sale with very active bidders in spite of the English Spring Weather.

Machinery Dispersal Report-Chesterfield Farm, Lichfield
“Pots of Gold at Lichfield Collective Sale”
Despite mother nature creating chaos with rain and mud the Bagshaws team held an extremely successful collective sale at Chesterfield Farm, Lichfield and great thanks to be given to the Moore family and Mr Barker for allowing the event to take place.
There was a superb crowd from as far afield as Gloucestershire and North Yorkshire together with Wales and Cheshire and support on the phone from Ireland for various principal items.
Top call of the day was £55,800 for the New Holland T7.210 4WD tractor c/w MX T Series Loader having been registered in 2019 and with 4,565 hours on the clock. This very smart tractor was purchased by a local farmer to go straight to work. The New Holland T6.175 Dynamic Command tractors attracted a large amount of interest including Irish buyers and those from the Welsh borders with the first tractor achieving £45,600 and having 2,918 hours on the clock and the second tractor achieving £45,800 with 3,312 hours on the clock.
