A strong trade in the Calves today with good numbers forward and plenty of buyers around the ring, British Blue Bulls topped at £375 and a British Blue Heifer topped at £275.
Trade in the Lambs remaining strong, seeing a few less numbers on offer with the best Lambs topping at 300p/kg.
More pigs on offer this week seeing fats topping at 209p.
Less Dairies around this week but good prices achieved with a second calver achieving £2680 and Heifers up to £1960.
A similar trade to last week for the Barrens, seeing a top price of the day at £1197.

Another superb trade in the Dairy shed at Leek saw the monthly Pedigree Sale top at £2930 and average £1846.
A large entry of Lambs this week with 1183 sold, seeing a strong trade with some spirited bidding throughout with an overall average of 257p/kg.
90 Calves on offer this week, which is a little less than the past couple of weeks but plenty of buyers around the ring with an eagerness to buy, topping at £410.
Firm trade in the Barrens with plenty of buyers around seeing a top headage price of £1216.80.
Similar trade in the Pigs this week with 139 on offer with Porkers looking a particularly good trade at 208p.

The Dairy section saw a roaring trade in Leek this week with a top of £2950, 126 head entered with 90 of these from the Carter Family of Rugby.
778 Lambs on sale with a solid trade throughout, with best Lambs up to 320p/kg.
144 Calves on offer with plenty of potential buyers around the ring. Topping the market at £360 was a British Blue Bull.
A stronger trade in the Barren Cows with 50 on offer and plenty of eager buyers around the ring.

Best Lambs topping at 330p/kg with an overall average of 277p/kg.

Pig numbers were on the rise today with a solid entry of 156 and trade significantly dearer across all sections.
Similar numbers to last week for the Calf section with 121 Calves on offer, seeing a storming trade, particularly for the best Bulls, with a high of £435.
Similar trade to last week in the Barren section with a top headage price of £1397.30 for a Brown Swiss Cow.
